    His View (poem and Original Song)

    Put a candle in the window
    Stack the furnace full
    A cup of coffee to make me mellow
    I sit and watch the snow.

    It reminds me of the crimson stain
    My dear Lord removed
    That white and pure atoning Glory
    Removing all my pain.


    And oh the wondrous view
    Of all that pristine white
    To know that how he sees me
    Through his blood I’m right.

    I see those steely nails
    That pierced his hands…
