His View (poem and Original Song)
1
Put a candle in the window
Stack the furnace full
A cup of coffee to make me mellow
I sit and watch the snow.
2
It reminds me of the crimson stain
My dear Lord removed
That white and pure atoning Glory
Removing all my pain.
And oh the wondrous view
Of all that pristine white
To know that how he sees me

I see those steely nails
That pierced his hands…
Put a candle in the window
Stack the furnace full
A cup of coffee to make me mellow
I sit and watch the snow.
2
It reminds me of the crimson stain
My dear Lord removed
That white and pure atoning Glory
Removing all my pain.
And oh the wondrous view
Of all that pristine white
To know that how he sees me
Through his blood I’m right.
I see those steely nails
That pierced his hands…
