Help Them See the Light/Conversation with God
I look all around and see things that just aren’t right
And a voice inside me says, Help them see the light
There are people walking the street
Some of them all night
Couples and loved ones who argue and fight
Children killing children such a horrible plight
And a voice inside me says, Help them see the light
Lord I’m but a sinner, what can I do?
You can tell of the things I have done for you
What if the words won’t come? What do I say?
Let them know how it was back in the day
When you lived on the edge, and thought only of self
How you took all you’d learned, and threw it on a shelf
How you trusted your Lord and He made things right
Just have courage My son, Help Them See the Light
