    Heading Out

    I woke up one morning.
    You were staring at me.
    You had on some makeup.
    But it wasn't for me.
You told me to get up.
    And get out of here.
So I packed up my stuff.
    And I faced my fears.

    And I'm heading out.
    Yeah I'm heading out.
    Out the front door.
And you're seeing me no more.
    Cause I'm heading out
    Yeah I'm heading out.
    Out the front door.
And you'll see me no more.

    I tried to figure out.
    Just who I really am.
There's a fork stuck in the road.
    And I just wana jam.
    Should I make a left.
Or should I take a right.
    I don't know pretty girl.
But it feels oh so right.

    And I'm heading out.
    Yeah I'm heading out.
    Out the front door.
And you're seeing me no more.
    Cause I'm heading out.
    Yeah I'm heading out.
    Out the front door.
And you'll see me no more.

    Getting back to my roots.
I finally found my own way.
    Better watch out you bastards.
    Cause I'm coming around today.
Try and get in my way.
And you will feel my pain.
The pain that you put me through.
Is now only just a stain.

    And I'm heading out.
    Yeah I'm heading out.
    Out the front door.
And you're seeing me no more.
    Cause I'm heading out.
    Yeah I'm heading out.
    Out the front door.
And you'll see me no more.

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
