HAVE YOU EVER
Have you ever been in love
With some one that you can never have
Have you ever found yourself thinking about them
Every second of every minute of every hour
And do you know how much it hurts
To think and know that they can never be yours
What is even worse
Is that you both feel the same
When you are down,
They feel that you are down
And when they are down,
You feel it in your bones
Sometimes all you need to hear is their voice
For your heart to be at peace
They make you smile, they make you laugh
Then you find yourself wishing for something more
But then that is all it can ever be,
A wish
And you find yourself thinking that
The world is a very cruel place
And you want to throw a tantrum
To stomp your feet down
And cry out in frustration
You want to lash out at everyone
Then you try and calm yourself
Tell yourself that everything’s going to be alright
But you find it is all a waste of time
Coz deep in your heart you know for sure
That these feelings are not about to disappear
With some one that you can never have
Have you ever found yourself thinking about them
Every second of every minute of every hour
And do you know how much it hurts
To think and know that they can never be yours
What is even worse
Is that you both feel the same
When you are down,
They feel that you are down
And when they are down,
You feel it in your bones
Sometimes all you need to hear is their voice
For your heart to be at peace
They make you smile, they make you laugh
Then you find yourself wishing for something more
But then that is all it can ever be,
A wish
And you find yourself thinking that
The world is a very cruel place
And you want to throw a tantrum
To stomp your feet down
And cry out in frustration
You want to lash out at everyone
Then you try and calm yourself
Tell yourself that everything’s going to be alright
But you find it is all a waste of time
Coz deep in your heart you know for sure
That these feelings are not about to disappear
