good food being tossed
theres nothing much worse to watch
than good food in the act of being tossed...
corn of a cob, half eaten and dropped
salad set down, next to steaks searing hot
pineapple cake and chocolates boxed!
theres nothing much worse to watch
than good food in the act of being tossed...
a soda ice cold sitting next to a palm
watermelon in slices with the rines bitten off
at least some things get finished, but is it too hard
to finish the remains of that bowl with cole-slaw?!
there is nothing much worse to see though
than a half eaten pie, being smashed and disposed
and as the ants gather and you think of the kids
who don't have anything, you tend to admit
that it probably isn't too bad of a plan
to eat all your barbeque, lick the sauce off your hands
eat the crust of your pizza, wipe your face and go play
although kids sometimes do it, adults do also! i say..
since we have it so good, relax your drink on a coaster
lets make the best of what we have, and if not, make leftovers!
than good food in the act of being tossed...
corn of a cob, half eaten and dropped
salad set down, next to steaks searing hot
pineapple cake and chocolates boxed!
theres nothing much worse to watch
than good food in the act of being tossed...
a soda ice cold sitting next to a palm
