Freeze Frame....
She sits in her domain,Mind whirling with lucid thoughts,
Trying to define the pain,
No composure left to regain.
Pushing through the darkness,
As deep as she can go,
Accepting the pain,
As it refuses to let go.
Taking the blame,
Wondering why she came,
Turning her back on everything that still remains,
Destroying what kept her sane.
No longer trying to rectify,
No longer trying to deny,
No tears left to cry,
Just wanting to curl up and die.
Wanting so much,
Yet giving so little,
Running away from it all,
Wanting her world to stand still.
Freeze frame a moment in time,
When the eyes would shine,
The heart was mine,
And nothing about a child's love could define.
