Dont Go

I pleaded with him not to go. He pleaded with me to just let go.
How can I just let him go,when I feel like hes my heart and soul.
Now every morning when I awake I pray to God my life that he would please take.
My friends they all say, youll find someone else to take his place, but
I tell them;a love like mine and his is not fake it could never be replaced; for
heaven sake.
Every time I see him walk by,I jump out in front of him and say hi, but he just waves
me hi and continues to walk on by. I cant help but cry.
I try to convinse my self that its something that hes just going through,
that one day soon he will come to see that hes still in love with me.
though every one that knows him and me ,they all tell me hes already moved on
and already found him self a new love. The End

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
