A TINY BIT ABOUT A TEEN POETESS

WHAT KTIRISH , TEEEN POETESS, SAYS ABOUT HERSELF

KtIrish's Biography:Well,

I've loved poetry and literature for as long as I can remember. Which is kind of an odd hobby for a teenage girl. But words have always held a special magic for me. As Blake wrote "I must create a system, or be enslav'd by another man's. I will not reason and compare: my business is to create."

My favorite poets are Robert Frost, Edgar Allen Poe, William Blake, and Emily Dickinson.

I have discovered that OP members do not bother to read one another's biography. I am trying to rectify that oversight, by show-casing a few that I judge to be most outstanding.

In addition, your "CONFESSION " ought to be inspiring even to the diehards among us. I find your brief testimony very interesting. Just the thing I like to read about aspiring and talented young people. I love to "big-up" di yout' dem." Bob Marley , internationally famed reggae artiste, used to say.

Older poets, and young poets, may learn a lot from you, not necesarly learn about you, by just reading your biography.

Oh. Ok. Well if it'll inspire somebody, why not.
What confession?

CONFESSION!!

Maybe I used the wrong word. . My humble apology, if I offend. Whatever you declare to be true or fact, is a confession.

Oh. Sorry. I wasn't offended, just wondering what I confessed, cuz doesn't confession usually mean telling something thats a secret?

Well, as for growing up.
I have. Had to at an early age, so all I really have left is a young spirit.

I may be young in years, my friend.
But in my heart I carry sorrow of the ages.
I did not ask for it, but sometimes all we can do is dig up a smile and keep walking.

Stay young in years, and young at heart, Kt. I know how hard it can be to force a smile when ones teeth are gritting...I probably put on a make-believe happy air at least once a day...

KTIrish, I admire you and Bret,
I started when I was your age,
so stay positive, educated yourself,
and please stay away from negative people in the out door life,
and write on,

Yeah, my dear, let's laugh,
If things were better,
A perfect world would have been worse.

"All rhe world's a stage.
And all the men and women merely players:
They have their exits and their entrances;
And one man in his time plays many parts."
(Shakespeare)

The world is a comedy to those that think,
A trajedy to those that feel;
My preference is comedy.
(Horace Walpole)

Laugh a the world ,
And he world ask you why,
Laugh with the world
And the worls think you are sly.
( Original)

You shall , keep the world thinking.
By in yourself believing.
By trying, you can fly.
Adversity is no lead weighted thing,
The will to conquer shall raise your wing,
You can fly. You can fly.

Re: A TINY BIT ABOUT A TEEN POETESS

MYSELF, i think you have all it takes to become whatever you wish. and yes, cousin, more people need to read, or should i say, leave profiles.
but , you, teenpoetess. keep up the work no matter what others say. i, too, have been writing formany years. starting as a teen. and here i am today, many years later, still loving to hear others thoughts and dreams,(or nightmares) whatever the case may be. it's not all about being correct or aged. some of my best work came when i was young and fighting the world of growing up in it. love to you Angel.

Thanks Steve.
Although, I'm hardly an angel, lol. tongue wink

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.
