I also have a poetry book out, my publisher is Publish America and my book is called Inside The Light of My Heart. How is your book doing? I am still trying to figure out how to check on my book and see how it is doing. Good luck with your book

How did that publishing part go for you?
My company published mine, I work for Liberated Publishing.
I check witgh my manager to check out things about my book.
Try and contact your publisher.

Hey Dusty!
I'm with Publish America also! How long has your book been in production?
Sometimes all it takes is an email to the support team and they'll be happy to provide you with a status of your book! I got one for mine, and they were great about it!
Mine is being assigned to a text formatter and then they will be sending me my proofs after they've formatted it and everything. What I would do right now is go back to your final draft, and have a second set set of eyes to read it while you're waiting for your proofs... that way if they catch any mistakes that need to be fixed (typos and misspells) you'll know ahead of time and it will save you some time! I had my best friend whose also a writer proofread mine and was thankful to hear she found no typos or anything that she could see needing to be changed. She read it like 2-3 times too.
You will hear soon, don't fret.. have you joined the message boards there? They can give you some great help too! Also, if you can... try to get some pre-publication reviews for your book! I'm waiting on a couple for mine to be put on back cover! if you would like to do a review swap, esp since we both do poetry, I would love to review yours... you would need to send it as a pdf, though! I can send you mine, too if ya like!
