    Forgiveness. . .

Is a road that leads to Heav'n
         where
    Saying those three words
    I am sorry. . .
    Makes one's life change
                    for
    The pains of your sins
Will no longer be a muddy river
The river becomes clear. . .
    With your apology
    Like a mountain spring
      and
Your inner soul rests in peace.
    No more stress.
    No more guilt.
    No more sleepless nights
    No more doubts of hate.
                    for
    When given sincerly,
They bring our one's hidden love
      and
Those three simple words. . .
    I am sorry
    Will make a miracle happen
Making your worst enemy or foe
    Become a meek lamb.
And the rewards of this gift,
    Wil make you both
    The giver and the receiver
    Become friends for life
Where the broken chains of hate
Give you a new free reign on life.
    Is it not worth it?
    To be free again
Remember. . . the power in those words
      for
They will give you whatever you ask
A Life of new-born Happines and Love
      or
A Life of Hell and Pain.
The choice of road you take
    Is yours alone to make!

yes, the wonderful power of contrition...here is wisdom, wrapped in poetry.

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
