    Forget Me Not

Our new found love is exciting and fun,
We share ourselves, telling of all we’ve done.
In our closeness, our lives are fused together,
We make a promise to remain together forever.
But I realize as we grow with time,
You cannot ever fully be mine.
Our lives were too different in the past,
And our future together would never last.

Now I know we must lead our lives apart,
While keeping fond memories close to our hearts.
Please treasure love with each passing day,
It helped us to grow in a very special way.
Like the tiny flower that wilts and dies,
My fading love for you also cries,
    “Forget Me Not”.

Remember me always with smiles and gladness,
Regret not our meeting, with tears and sadness.
For if you feel sad at times of recall,
I’d rather you remember me never at all.
But like the flower that wilts and dies,
My fading love for you will always cry,
    “Forget Me Not”.

Reported as plagorism. A combination of words can tell somebodies heart and soul and subtle changes of a cry from the heart can really dampen the feel. It’s ok to relate to something you read one anonymously but to change it and call it your own is not artistic.
