Flight
The gilded cage is where
she resides,
Yet leave her alone
with bated breath
The bird will fly.
Neglecting her past,
she hopes to begin
Her life anew,
She cherishes freedom
The skies so blue.
Her fragile flight
entrances her forward,
Knowing no restriction,
dancing among the winds
Gliding with conviction.
