Father May I ?
Father may I ever be found at your table?
The honor of honors, not a tall fable.
May I drink of your wine?
Kiss your hand whilde you dine.
I ask to be recieved in your grace
just to be able to take a place.
Nearer to thou
to cherish you forever this I vow.
You forgave all my sins up on that rugged cross.
kept your faith at the greatest of cost.
For this I honor thee forever you see
my head gently cradled Lord on your sweet knee.
I am truly humbled to you my lord
no one could I ever depend on more.
Father may I ever be found at your table?
Amen.
