FACING THE FACT THAT HE'S GONE

AS I SIT HERE AND REMINICE OF ALL THE GOOD MOMENTS WE USE TO SHARE.

IT'S HARD TO REALIZE THAT THERE ARE SOME BAD ONES THAT I STILL HAVE TO BARE.

MISSING YOUR FACE,SMILE THE WAY YOU TALK.

EVEN FIND MYSELF MISSING THE WAY YOU WALK.

I GUESS I'M STILL IN LOVE WITH YOU.

BEING WITHOUT YOU IS SO HARD TO DO.

I KNOW WE'RE DONE,I KNOW WE'RE THRU.

IT'S NOTHING ELSE LEFT TO DO.

BUT FACE THE FACT THAT HE'S GONE.

AND NOW MY HEART AND SOUL THEIR ALL ALONE.

Such pain yet tenderness in this work. If it reflects a true life event, I hope you heal well. Others could heal just from your words. Nicely done.

A very good attempt, one mispelling, the correct spelling is reminisce and incorrect use of the word bare which means without clothing while bear means to hold up and carry on. Also the third line from the bottom should probably start with there's or there is instead of it's. These are all minor errors and we all make them but they detract from a very good poem.

thank you very much

Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
