Poem Commentary

Enjoy! :D

End of an Era

Don't you ever wonder what will happen when it ends?
I'll miss all of its quirks,
But be glad that its gone.

And I know
Now it's just a memory,
But it still seems real.

But it brought us closer,
so is it really that bad?
Now I'm seeing clearer.

But it's still the end of an era
Memories and experiences in all,
gone.

I understand your poem well. When one says the End of an Era, I would say every 10 years. Other people have different opinions on that. Just one thought of your last statement, In every "ERA", there are good and bad memories and experiences. One should always cherish the good memories and experiences, but forsake the bad ones.Unless a real good one was brought forth because fo the "ill one". Good job, LOKIN, forward to your future writings........................

Your poem is a little confusing, yet has some mystery to it.

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.

T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
