    Echos, Silhouettes & Shadows

    Watching, waiting, laughing, feeding
The shadows all weeping for the pain and destruction
This dank, dreary city has fallen into his hands now
Hell reigns in this land of torment and suffering

    Silhouettes standing in awe watching
The tears falling with only one purpose
Hitting the streets with echos of devastation and pain
    When will this end?!

Fire burning in the night time sky
On hands and knees scraping to get away
    Flee from this infernal tomb
Stand up! Stand up! I can't let you die here, keep on moving!

Won't someone stop this terror and dread?
Save the innocents, save the future
Striking the sky like a thousand blasts
    Racing down, down, down

Impacting the world with an enormous blow
    Silhouettes blown back
A Beam of light begins to burn bright
With the power of the sun sweeping through

Taking the helpless and weak away
From the putrid sea of filth, greed, lust, disgust and death
Lighting up the obscured town and bringing order
    Giving light to the silhouettes

Stand tall and fight! Use this gift I bring you!
This light is your sword, your everlasting strength
    Shadows tranfering into luminescent waves
Asending into the atmosphere to shine

This sullen city has finally awaken and risen from the dust
The rebirth has begun just like it always has
Hell won't dare return for if he does he will be the one that burns
Peace has come and the echos have become the sounds of laughter

And on this day we have overcome the terror, overcome the dread
We have rebuilt this world with the light that guided us all to safety
Look to the light in hopes of an end of your pain and overcome
So take a moment with yourself to look inside, you never know what you will find.
