    Driftwood

I'm a piece of driftwood floatin' out at sea I don't expect you to understand a salty old dog like me I havn't seen a ship or plane in 20 odd years I don't recall you giving a damn any old way. I do believe that wave's gonna cause me trouble. I'm a piece of driftwood lyin' in the sand I don't expect that honeymoonin' couple to understand, the special bond between water and man.How dare they disturb my bubble.I'm a piece of driftwood on my distant isle,a distant star rhines down,I ain't lyin' So go ahead and be happy, i'm finally at peace unless some castaway makes kindling out of me
