    Dreaming

    Closing my eyes,
    i can see a view.
    It's a little pastey,
but i can still see you.
    Your moving in the distance,
    but it's still untrue-
    cause the person that's here,
    is not really you.

And as much as i call
    it's like you dont hear,
and the more that i scream,
    With my secrets all told,
you only give what i fear,
    so strong, but so weak,
cause i still want you here.

    So i scream,
    peircing my eyes,
    i want this nightmare over
i want the pain to subside,
    and the tears that fall,
i dont feel them in time
    and i wanna apologize
    but i did everything right.

    So, i'll let it go.
    learn how to be strong,
    no one ever again,
    will do what you've done.
tear me down, make me weak,
i can now spot the wrong.
    history has passed,
    the new has begun.

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
