    Poem Commentary

Downwards is a Acrostic poem. This type of writting is fun to do.

    Downwards

    Downwards I fall,
    Oh wind in my hair,
    Wishing Gods call,
    No time for despair,
    Wanting salvation,
    Angels all around,
    Ready for heaven,
    Death comes to town,
    So downwards I fall.

I absolutely adored your rhyme pattern! Also your opposite objectives were quite intriguing.

    Thank you for your comment.

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.
