    Disappearing

    Disappearing

Waking up to an empty bed

Wiping my eyes and scratching my head

    Thinking did you disappear

    Wondering why you’re not here

    Has the love gone away?

Or you didn’t want to stay

For you my back was bent

    You were my best compliment

You been away for more than a week

No phone calls no emails we can’t speak

I should of paid attention to the signs

Now you are on my mind

Only if I could see you again

I’ll have you thinking of now instead of then

All of a sudden you started reappearing

It’s funny how my feelings are disappearing

    Disappearing

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
