    Desire

                                         THE RIVER JORDAN

    An Esoteric Poem

    DESIRE

    The Dew from Mount Hermon

    Trickles Down His Face

As He Gazes upon his Zion

    Raging Torrents Become Him

His River Flowing Majestic is He

As he Walks Through His Waters

Manna From Above Feed His Grazing Sheep

    What is Yours’ is Mine

    Oh My Hearts Desire

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.

    T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
