Departure to Georgia, one way

If I could do what my thoughts provoke me to.
We,d walk a mile together as a pair of comfortable shoes.
Support comes in lessons, heart felt emotions travel in the progression.
No doubt, one will be missed like a goodbye kiss
never to return to these lips.
Journey with a soul in whom the rhythm pulls you close
through air connections, when scenery is bare
and gives no reflection.
Show the thoughts that run free and clear
of life once here dear.
Please don't steer the ship
just glide through the rough water.
This vessel has no rearview mirror.
Let this new path amongst the peaches
be as sweet as your laugh.
Listen for the country's calming voice before
you let out a little noise, savor the taste of joy.
Some things and some beings flow like a river,
smooth on the surface.
They workout internally and create their own purpose.
Decisions to overtake the obstacles that come and not to run.
You are your protection, a shield inside that only is
called upon in a fight.
Not a mechanism, defense is for attacks.
Grow tall and strong looking up always,
reflect your beauty back at the sun.
Take a piece of this tree,
may it nurture the seeds you plant, abundantly.

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
