    -- Deep Down --

You'll never be able to kill who I am --Deep Down--
I must admit you almost did though
But I just had to focus and dig --Deep Down--
Knowing who was waiting on me when I found,
the man my momma raised --Deep Down--
I love to laugh, have a good time, and you faded that alittle bit,
but now I'm sick of this shit!
Thats why I'm digging way down deep, until he comes to surface again
Through this paper I speak and tounge kiss it with my pen
Finally I can breathe again, and those restless nights I can sleep now,
Damn you got me digging--Deep Down-- Thank you 4 that!

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
