    Day Dream Away

    Day Dream Away
    Day after Day
    Till the sun does decay
    Rise, shine, set, stop, stay.
Birds lost in the new night
Sing in my ear in exchange for guidance
When they leave it floors me the silence
    I whistle to keep sane
    I hum vibrating my brain
Its soft tissues are a day bed
    Nestled deep inside
    Day Dreams Away

I like the resonance in this. It explains my need for constant motion, constant sound.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
