Daddy's Poem
I watch you in sorrow,
As you slowly fade away.
This pain and suffering you feel,
Why on earth does it have to stay?
I don't want you to go,
But I know in my heart it's the only way.
As your pain intensifies,
You become even more closer with God.
But as I watch you suffer,
I become more distant and all I'm able to do is sob.
I don't want you to know,
This pain I feel inside.
There is no need for extra worry,
So this pain I will just have to hide.
Time will go on,
And soon you won't be here.
You will be so far away,
But yet in my heart you will be very near.
As you stare into the Face of God,
There will be no ore sorrow,
And your pain and suffering will be gone.
So Come to think of it,
You are very lucky.
Soon you'll be in a place,
To some only exists in dreams.
That place is so distant to me,
So far away it seems.
So when you arrive in this beautiful paradise,
Remember all of us
Who stood by your side
And who also loved you so,
And keep an eye out for each of us ,
For when it is our time to go.
As you slowly fade away.
This pain and suffering you feel,
Why on earth does it have to stay?
I don't want you to go,
But I know in my heart it's the only way.
As your pain intensifies,
You become even more closer with God.
But as I watch you suffer,
I become more distant and all I'm able to do is sob.
I don't want you to know,

So this pain I will just have to hide.

But yet in my heart you will be very near.
As you stare into the Face of God,
