Poem Commentary

God could not die in and of Himself and man can not live in and of himself so God became man to share our fleshly nature and die so we could share His heavenly spiritual nature and live. God shared our nature with us in order to die, for us to share His nature with Him and live Praise be to our Lord Jesus Christ for reconciling the world unto Himself through His death...

Counting Our Days

Some people count all days the same,
some people count all days different,
some people always search for fame,
some people are indifferent.

Some days I would like to remember.
some days I would like to forget,
some are filled with great achievement,
some are filled with great regret.

I would like to give each day to the Lord,
so each day would count for a reward,
and no matter what the day records,
the glory and honor will be the Lords'.

Thanks!

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.

John F. Kennedy (1917-1963) Thirty-fifth President of the USA
