    Let me see if I can see myself the way you see me
    Yea, let me count the ways
    You see me overbearing
    to whatever depths, I can only guess

    You see me as meddling,
    how do I know?
    You’ve counted them
    so many times
    The way I look at you,
    you say puts fear into your soul

    What to me is sincere advice
    to you is interference,
    You feel diminished and insulted
    If I’m contrary to you.

    I say “you should”,
    How thoughtless of me,
    not to take into account your
    feelings,

    So tell me,
    how do you see yourself? ...
