Cosmetic Love
She's found the perfect tone of make-up.
It accompanies her tone well.
She uses it to cover every bruise.
Even the bruises that'll never heal.
Try the brokeness of her heart.
She's found some rotten juice to drink that stiches her heart.
Emulating the make-up the stiches blend.
Suddenly she begins to cry.
Her make-up begins to smear.
Under her eyeshade lies blackness,
Blackness in which her heart has fell.
Even before she's able to wash away her tears,
The more she cries
The more it smears.
Of all the years she has worn this brand
Why now must it not fit with her new torn personality?
Has it now had enough of trying to blend with her mixed congeniality?
Does it realize that it's purpose has changed?
Does it now see a face that's not the same?
Should it go?
Why should it stay?
Her make-up goes,
for it's purpose has changed.
It has to go
Why stay?
When the reason she cries is due to heartache.
Why should it stay?
Why?
For the purpose it serves is,
To cover up
HATE!
It accompanies her tone well.
She uses it to cover every bruise.
Even the bruises that'll never heal.
Try the brokeness of her heart.
She's found some rotten juice to drink that stiches her heart.
Emulating the make-up the stiches blend.

Why should it stay?
Why?
For the purpose it serves is,
To cover up
HATE!
