    people who don't know about

the kind of relationship we have

say hey that's not her name

    when I call you that

outsiders think hey that guys insane

    but they don't even know

how long we've known each other

and they can't even fathom how deep our elationship goes

I remember the day when you showed me that you had

    chick' balls'

    we were in Mexico

and everyday I played by myself on the basketball court

one day you thought "hey that kid Brooks looks lonely"

"all alone with no one to play"

you walked on the court one day and said to me "hey"

"I challenge you to a game"

"c'mon bring it on, Iets play"

    I laughed like

    this chick' is insane

    challengin' me ta' a' game

    doesn't she know

    who I am?

    hasn't she heard my name

    ya' still wanted ta' play

choosing not to heed a word I'd say

    you came on the court

    and I owned you handily'

    that day

I will remember that game forever

    til' my dying day

    you showed me

    that you had chick' balls

    by choosing ta' play me

when others chose ta' shy away

    you are forever a beast

and a dogg' in my mind

and that is how you will

    forever stay

til' I take my last breath

    until my final day

    Nice...story...Great poem

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
