When two souls meet
what do they say?
One says "Hi!"
The other says "Hey."

When two boys meet
they usually go
"How you doing?",
or "What's up, bro?"

When two girls meet
sometimes they smile.
Other times they fake it
for a little while.

When two men meet
how will they be?
Will they be slaves
or will they be free?

When two women meet
will they be good?
Will they converse until
both are understood?

When you meet me
and I meet you
will we tell lies
or things that are true?

And when we die,
our bodies covered in sod,
tell me, then, what
will we tell God?

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
