    Contemplation

A man once was lost on that weary road of love,
and when he reached the end he questioned above.
The world he lived in, was it who he really was,
or was he stuck in a place where his progress was none.
Dreams he once had traveled away like the years,
and when the reality hit, all he felt was the fear.
He was stuck in a place where he was neither too young or to old,
and the woman he loved, her hand he couldn't hold.
So it's back to the world that passed him all bye,
back to the world under the dark black skies.

Once again very well done. It seems that this man hit that point in life where he realized it all passed by when he wasnt looking.

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
