    Consequence

    After all of these days
    That you let me go
    How to forget you
    I still do not know

    I see you some days
But I just pass you by
    Can’t let out a word
    Can’t even say hi

    I try to say phrases
    Yet words don’t come out
    I’m hurt really deep
    That’s without doubt

But how can I show you
    This pain that I feel
    Because they’re not only words
What I say is so real

    I wait here with patients
    So close to the door
    Even though that I know
    I’ll see you no more

    My hopes are still up
    They’ll always be high
    Even if you go date
    With some other guy

I can’t wait to see you
    From day on to day
    Your face in my eyes
    Puts some pain away

I just Love you so much
    It may be a sin
    This Love is so strong
    It hurts me within

But that day that you left me
    I’ll never forget
    Ripped out my heart
    Fresh bit by bit

With those twenty days of Love
    Came a lifetime of pain
    I guess that’s consequential
    For playing Love’s game.
