    Concentrate on You

Do you remember our special song?
How we sang it all day long?
    Making love under moonlight
Where the stars shone ever so bright
Can you remember those days way back when?
It seemed we didn’t have to pretend
That broken hearts would enter our days
That we would go our separate ways
I concentrate on thoughts of you
Wondering if you think of me too

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
