    Companion Thine

For whither thou goest, there also shalt thou find me
Thine eternal companion and by thy presence blessed be,
I am thy husband, thy spouse, and thy most loyal friend,
Pledged with valiant heart to endure unto the end.

Amidst the storms and raging tempest gales
Thou shalt find me always, for true love never fails.
No matter if thy trials send thee far cross’d barren stone,
To the highest mountain top, or deepest valley thrown,
Thou shalt always find me with thee, loyal and steadfast
For thy cause shall be my banner, and thy love be my repast.

My Lady, rest thy worries and take my steady arm
I am thy champion eternal, and wouldst never cause thee harm
For thou art the lifespring of my every hope and dream
And I, in thy love find solace and joy in thy esteem.

    Very nice and different.

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
