Come let’s make our love anew
Our love looked sweet
My friends praised it
I have longed to see our love grow
Like a mild storm that steadily grows
To become a hurricane
Strong and unstoppable
But it rather lost its flavour
With nothing to savour
Becoming tasteless …
I saw an old tattered car
On the side of a road
Located in a little valley
In the midst of a little community
With weeds grown all over and within
Its front doors torn
And its tires ruptured.
People pass by
Some sell close by
Yet no one cares about it
I said to myself,
That so, has our love become
Rejected and left to grow old and cold
Just like a lonely rose
Left to grow in the midst of thorns and thistles
Not noticed and losing its value.
Oh! My love
Come, please come...
Come let's make our love anew
What we used to have is special
And different from what others have
Your smile always gave me an inspiration
That no other lady can give.
Oh! My love
Come, please come...
Come let's make our love anew
And show the whole world
That our love is meant to last forever
