Cold Light
The old man in the corner just diedno one noticed until instead of eyes their were fly's
And as flames his soul did burst
the piper paid the toll
to cross the river Styx
to find on the other side
all his relatives who'd died
except the old one who he had cherished
with a totem of dogwood
and one incense
only aged 5
now at 30 he asked them why
they said needing
not prayers but one
could save them from demons tongues
and make them feathered ones
so cold and so bright
it defeats fires light
and with rod and trident they do clash
lent down by their fathers wrath
they both stand to gain and none will lose
but the two who hold them do
for each others souls they must fight to
pass an unaged test
then maybe have their rest
when fathers dreamt the test
after the rest of three worlds
above below and between fighting endlessly
for humanity for the right to the most powerful weapon
known in their land
and while they fight endlessly
we're in command
but till when they have passed the test
