CHILDREN

Children play so hard and fast
No rules for them, their play to last
Beyond limits we would impose
With well chose words but not in prose

For we would not adventure dare
And break the rules we oft prepare
To help us stay in safety's lair
Lest we fall prey to our despair

But Children say "Oh no we can't
Find our way in this old chant
Give us the new and then prepare
To give way please and let us dare"

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
