    Chaotic Storm

Hostile winds whip around me setting up a whole new game.

I know that chaos will erupt soon.

In the darkness yet to come, is there anything to light my way?

Icy tears rain from the sky sending a chill of warning to my bones.

The pain I know will not end and not much will begin to mend.

    Who will hold my hand?

A roar of thunder sounds in the air screaming at me my biggest fear.

Strength will leave me this is the certain truth of it all.

Will anybody catch me when I fall?

A flash of lightening strikes the ground telling me to turn around.

This I absolutely will not do, There is nothing left for me to lose.

Who will stand by my side and help me through this heart aching ride?

The sun shines through the raging storm as if to say it will all be okay.

My light is the truth and love that will see me through.

In every darkness there is light, as in every light there is a shadow.

Now the question is, who is too blind to see it?

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
