In my life,
I have seen so many changes.

Some I've went through,
others I've observed happening to people I know.

Many good, and many bad.
Changes that I have spent most of my life dealing with all on my own.

Mostly though,
I spent time on other peoples changes.
The changes they can not deal with on their own.

This helped me to put space between me
and the changes in my life.
Changes that I was not yet ready to face on my own.

Through helping others,
I gave the illusion that I have everything in my life under control.

Then on a perfect winters day,
a beautiful blessing was blown into my life.
A blessing I had spent many moons
praying would come my way.

That miracle would change the way I dealt with my life.
That miracle was my kindred spirit.
Sent to light up my whole world.

Making any changes past, present, and future no problem to deal with.
Now I was no longer alone, strength replaced insecurities,
and beauty filled up my life...
