    Chance Meeting

It's just a year ago today.
The smiles, the laughs, no regrets.
    He walks outside his home,
He lovingly gazes at the delicate roses.
He can't believe how lucky he has been,
Remembering how good it is to hear her voice.
She is such a joy, making him laugh.
Giving back to him what he thought was gone.
Gently the wind blows the fruit trees.
She walks out of her home.
Gazing lovingly at the delicate roses.
She too has some special thoughts.
He has touched deep in her heart.
Making her beauty shine inside and out.
Gently her hair blows softly in the breeze.
They have so much in common.
    Far away from each other,
Close in thoughts of one another.

love it, the way you told a short story , painted the picture of myself being in that moment ..

A real soft, well spoken piece of recognition of the beauty of each other, for truly we take little else out of the world with us when we depart, it is the way others touch us or we them that is the treasure of the eternal heart, everything else falls back to the ground when we take flight.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
