CANCER
Why must I continue to come here
You'll never relieve me of my inner fear
The one thing you told me replays in my mind
I wish for one moment I could go back in time
If only to erase the memory of that one minute
So that I can live my life without a time limit
What am I to do with this information
How do I voice my emotions, my frustrations
I can't endure the pain of your medication again
I can't just sit there as the needles go in
Please don't make me lye on that cold table
I know you think I'm strong, you think I'm able
but I'm not, I'm weak just thinking about it
and I don't want to hear about it or talk about it
Isn't there something else, another alternative
Don't tell me it'll be ok, don't tell me I'll live
Stop assuming you know exactly how I feel
Just shut your damn mouth, and try to be real
Thanks for the pity, but I really don't need it
When you're done talking, why don't you beat it
I kind of would like to be alone for a while
and don't waste your time trying to make me smile
When I'm ready to talk, I'll come to you
Until then, thanks, but there's nothing you can do
You'll never relieve me of my inner fear
