Anybody Need a Light?

Anybody Need a Light?

If it gets any darker the light might shine

Wouldn’t hold my breath

See the point? What’s the travel?

I’m falling off the cliff of rocks and gravel

Sitting there, feelings bare

Anybody care?

I don’t… anymore.

I’m in the process of no progress

If I jump I see no protest

Would it matter?

Not anymore.

If I found her what could I give her?

Perfection? Not quite, I’ll go ask the river.

Every angel is a scrounging dog

Naivety in me sounds the fog

Why hide the scenario from me?

I’m a fool?

Why do you lie to me?

I’m a fool?

Its all the same. Names change

Outcomes don’t

Who’s to blame?

Its seems to me there are two

and who knew

They’d just change voices

I think I want to see through the choices

I’m slipping, going back.

Is it me? Can you see? Can you hear?

Woken up to tobacco smoke and fear.

Why do you hate me so much?

Its ok, I can see now… I hate me too.

Yet another brillian write. You dance along this one as if walking tight rope. Blah blah blah yackity smackity! I was done with tight rope but a 100 character minimum. Nice!

well put together. I liked it.

Poetry is when an emotion has found its thought and the thought has found words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
