Answered Prayer
I'd been searching so long & had almost given up on finding your love,
I met too many users looking only to be taken care of.
I knew in my heart the values I had searched for
Heaven heard my plea and sent you -all I wished and more.
Form that first moment I knew what happened deep in my heart,
Quenched any doubt and told me we would never part.
For you were the one I was told was on his way,
and God blessed me richly on that day.
Each night wrapped in your arms as I drift off to sleep,
I am filled with a love that is true and deep.
When I wake to find you still lying there next to me,
I realize this is as it should be.
Two incomplete and hopeful hearts,
Joined together, never again to be apart.
I am confident the tears now are born of joy and love
for you are my answer sent to me from above.
