    Angels

All women carry candles and have snow-white wings. They use their wings to shield the ones they love and illuminate the dark paths of the ones they love, so they will never be frightened or blind.
The candles that are suppose to relieve every fear you have has the polar opposite effect on me. The light the that emits from the candles cast dark, sinister shadows. Malevolent shadows that taunts me and stalks me until my last screams of life exit my throat.
I am a fortunate person however, there is a unique and beautiful angel that has decided to follow me whose wings are tainted black by the hate of the world. Sadly, she has no hope for the future of humanity. She only has hope for me.

I really enjoyed your poem. It has a lot of depth but also explains a base point. It can't be the same for everyone.

great images in but you left little bridge to build your cap in thoughts in this poem. I think if you took some time to work with it there would be a better way but good work Robert...

    Excellent

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.
