    And You Told Me

I would never want to let you go
You're the last completion of my heart.
I want to hold on to you forever
And see your shining eyes, made of art

I feel the breeze of the ocean
In the presence of your soul.
And who would ever want to let that go
I'll hold your hand, when you're struggling.
And all these, I'm guessing you know

    Hold me, touch me
    Forever in your pathway.
    Toward the end, you'll defend.
I'll love you always, if I may
When you asked me on a date
    That made my day

    Want me, love me
    I will want you always
Side by side, I'll take your guide
    My son in loving memory.
I asked if you still loved
    And you told me

I could still feel the ocean's breeze
In the presence of your soul.
I will never, ever let you go
    Holding hands
    We're done with that
I wanna take it to the final page.
    Let's lie in bed
    Your head on my head.
Laugh until we grow of old age.
    I'll stare in your eyes
And watch the greatness fade away
    Today

    Hold me, touch me
    Forever in your pathway.
    Toward the end
    You'll defend.
I'll love you always, if I may
When you asked me on a date
    That made my day

    Want me!
    Love me!
    I will love you always
    Side by side
    Take my guide
    My son in loving memory.
I asked if you still loved
    And you told me.

    The breeze of the ocean
Is as warm as your skin.
    I just don't know where I begin
Take my heart from my soul
    And you'll regret it all
I'll decide if you're the right one for me.
    Take my heart
    We'll be together for eternity
    Always and eternity.

    Want me
    Love me
    I will have you always.
Side by side, we're all guides.
    You're always in my memory
I asked if you still loved---
    And you told me...

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
