an untitled poem

you are the last nail in
every coffin,
every bale of
cotton
spells your name.
you are the responsive dog
we do not want barking.
you are wanton
dogged
you are cliche
because its easy
you are beaneath sleazy
SLOW. RICH. LAZY.
you are the casted dye
breathing in the cut of the war on
crime.

vampires.
the fire is at the door.
the bell
has struck the chime.
