    An Encounter With Lady Euphoria

I lie in the luscious grass finding figures in the clouds.

Suddenly all the figures meld into one,

And Lady Euphoria stares down at me as the beaming sun retires below her face.

A tree silhouetted against the sky

Looks like a hand, it's branches sprouting out like fingers.

The sky gains color like a pallet, emotion is being painted.

The hand is grabs onto a shade of orange I've never seen before, creamy pink with a certain glow.

Strips of golden yellow as if produced by a spindle

Are spread about among the sea of orange adding to the surrealness of it all.

Who could fathom how this tree branch hand can still look so beautiful next to this painting?

It grabs onto the beauty and doesn't let go

The comfy grass relaxes all my muscles and the wind twirling the leaves creates a beautiful lullaby.

As I dream Lady Euphoria calls to me, "Never leave beauty left unacknowledged."

an interesting euphoria, lady of imagination, good poem. Smiles

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.
