An Empty Room
“An Empty Room”
Brightly colored walls
Damp and cold,
Wide opened window
Nice but old,
A door that hid nothing;
Just the floor, window and walls.
She keeps on saying
She’s happy,
She needed nobody,
Strong as the wall
Could face destiny’s call.
Surpassed all the sorrows;
Breathe through her window
And soared her very own floor.
Her eyes tells not
What you see;
I read it clearly
And she’s lonely,
For her heart
Is empty.
