    Always be Mine

From the rising of the sun warmed is my heart,

In the knowledge that your love will never depart.

You’re warm heart and kindness in all your ways,

Is plain to see for all that love it always displays.

All the long years I have had no doubt or blame,

Burns my love like a fire with an eternal flame.

Against any problems we stood united and did fight,

Together we have lasted regardless of our plight.

Forever united till our lives come to the end,

My hope for the future on you I always depend.

With a love that spans even the divide of time,

With love so pure you will always be mine.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
