    AFTON

WARMTH SHE GIVES, WITH HER LIGHT AGLOW

AN ANGEL BORN, WITH BLESSINGS IN TOW

A SMILE FROM HEAVEN, SO DIVINE

AKIN BUT ONLY, TO THE SUNSHINE

WITH EYES AS KIND, AS A GENTLE BREEZE

TO GAZE INTO, IS DONE WITH EASE

A GIFT SHE IS, BORN THIS DAY

TO BLESS WITH LIGHT, ALONG HER WAY

This made me think of the birth of my kids.(Brought a smile to my face) They are older now, but still a source of wonder. nice work.

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.

    Emily Dickinson (1830-1886) American poet.
